I certainly can't comment on the rightness or wrongness of the Australian Tax Office's current issue with actor Paul Hogan. It's a crushing alleged debt.
My take is this: Paul is said to be extremely upset about being away from his family. Huh? Why aren't they here? If my husband was being detained in such a manner, my rusty dusty would be on the next plane to see him. It's Australia, not some repressive regime, and he's not in jail. So his wife is still over in the States because...why?
